This cable does not appear to work with my IPhone 3GS, and the Samsung IPod docking station. The docking station works fine when the phone is plugged directly into it, but not when I use this cable. When I use this cable, I get a message on the phone stating that the connection is "not optimized for this phone" (or something like that)

Will this cable work with the Volvo inetgrated ipod cable? V50 model 2010. I have tried the DeLock iphone cable but that doesnt work giving a 'device not detected' statement.

I have an iPhone4, with an otterbox defender case, the cable connects fine.
When I plug the iphone4 to my Altec Lansing IM&, I get a message that this item is not optimized for the iPhone4, but i can easily dismiss it, and also that charging is not supported with this accessory. But all these limitations are due to my IM7, not the cable. I can play music fine thru the IM7 from my iPhone4 plugged with the 3Gjuice cable. Bottom line, if your Bose can charge the iphone4 then the cable will work. and if the cable works w/ the otterbox defender case, I am pretty sure it will work w/ the bumper case...

Looking online, it's unclear if this will or won't work with the iPhone 4:
1) to power the phone (eg, from a Bose Speaker Dock)
2) connect with Apple's Bumper Case installed
