Yes, I used the original iPhone cable; don't use jailbreak; the iPhone gives a message that it won't work with this charging appliance. Are you telling me this should work - how can I get it to work?

Re: Coming Up: Three New Products Of 3GJUICE

5400 mAh!! That's amazing! I just bought mine on Amazon.com. I don't care about price because not having a working phone is priceless. I went camping at a festival last month where battery power became rationed more than beer by friends. Wikipedia says the 3G battery is 1150 mAh. So does that mean this gets 4.6 charges?

Re: The New 3GS: does it work with 3GJUICE?

Update: only customers who use a jailbreaked phone have compatibility
problems, fortunately only in some rare occasions.

Re: THE NEW 3GJUICE 2.0: 100% in 3 hours!

I think I must have not communicated clearly. Let me try again:

My question: When I plug the 3GJuice into my computer via USB in order to charge the 3GJuice, I am not seeing any indication as to whether the 3GJuice is charged or not. Are the lights supposed to provide an indication as to whether the 3GJuice is receiving a charge? Is it supposed to indicate when the 3GJuice has completed receiving a charge? How do you know when the 3GJuice itself completes its charge?

Thanks, Mark

Re: THE NEW 3GJUICE 2.0: 100% in 3 hours!

I confess, it's Spartan. Your iPhone will be charged first, so you
will see the battery icon of the iPhone growing. When the 3GJUICE is
exhausted, the green light will go out. It's as simple as that :) How
do you know how long it will last? It doubles the life of your iPhone,
so 100% charge is possible, after that you live on borrowed time
(about 20% extra energy left)

Henk

Re: THE NEW 3GJUICE 2.0: 100% in 3 hours!

It does show the green light when I put it on.

But when I plug it in, I can't tell if it is charging nor can I tell if it has reached full charge state (so I can't tell when it is time to unplug)?

What am I missing. There seems to be a small compatibility issue with the Major Mojo and 3Gs; i have linked the error message from my 3Gs below.

I was using the Major Mojo for about 2 weeks flawlessly with the original 3G. But as soon as I got the 3Gs, i tested if it would charge. in short it still does, but now there is an extra step required.

1. You attach the 3Gs with the supplied connectors and then hit the charge button.
2. The 3Gs will display an error message stating "Charging is not supported by this accessory."
http://i43.tinypic.com/1z2hesj.jpg
3. if i unplug my 3Gs from the MajorMojo and quickly replug it in, it will then start to recharge as normal.

Any idea how to remove this quirk or malfunction?

Re: THE NEW 3GJUICE 2.0: 100% in 3 hours!

What is exactly the problem? I just got my 3gJuice from Amazon yesterday. I've been testing it out and so far it's going good. I did read below that someone's green light was still on and not showing any signs of energy running out. I am experiencing the same thing. I charged the 3gJuice while it's turned 'OFF", and I charged my iPod Touch with it in the 'ON' position. I charged overnight thinking the green light would disappear when it was done. But it's been a constant green light with no signs of the battery draining down to where I need to charge it up again. Since it's been hours (6-8 hrs.) I am charging it from my computer while in the off position there is no red light and the moment I plugged in the USB cable, the red light is on signaling that it's charging now. Is it okay for the green light to be lit constantly when it is in the 'on' position? Shouldn't the green light go away when there is nothing in the battery? I want to make sure I maintain the battery and charge when the battery is drained fully to keep the longevity of it going. Please share with me your thoughts. Thanks.

Re: Coming Up: Three New Products Of 3GJUICE

I am not Nicholas, but the maker. What about this: both! If you use the AC charger for the Major Mojo, wait till 5 red lights are blinking and you're done. If you plug the Major Mojo into the iPhone, the lights will become green, starting with 5 green lights and diminishing during use

2. Yes you have to press once. Sorry, we should have written this more clearly

3. Absolutely, it's designed to let you sleep :) It will stop itself. There is a lot of electronic circuit in the battery to make this happen.

Re: Coming Up: Three New Products Of 3GJUICE

I am a new customer and I just received my Major Mojo. Just refunded a Mophie Air battery/case so I can get the Major Mojo.

The build quality on the Major Mojo is great. And for my style of use of the iphone, the dongle attached battery works better for me, than a case/battery style, which adds bulk. I am really looking fwd to 3 full charges from each Major Mojo cycle.

Still in the process of charging for my 1st time. Looks like it shipped 70%+ charged. Few questions and comments.

However, I found the instructions a bit confusing and here are my questions:

1. Are the a,b,c,d,e indicator lights assigned for the Major Mojo capacity or the iphone capacity?

2. It states in the manual that it recharges both the Major Mojo and the iphone simultaneously. However, it does not charge the iphone while charging the Major Mogo, unless i press the Button, turning the DC Out Light momentarily green, then turning red, to show it is now charging my phone. What i am saying is, it doesnt automatically start charging the phone, as it would plugging in the white oem iphone/usb cable to the wall outlet or a usb port. Please correct me if i am wrong.

3. I know that the Major Mojo will shut itself off while charging my iphone in transit, once my iphone is 100%. But when i am charging both at night while sleeping, will the major mojo also stop itself from overcharging itself and the iphone, when both are charging via a wall outlet?

Thx

Re: First MAJOR MOJO Review On Amazon

I am a new customer and I just received my Major Mojo.
